Rants about why this school sucks:

Yesterday I received a letter that a bottle of vodka, which is neither mine nor my roommate's, was "found" on "one of the desks" when the room was checked for spring break. The way they wrote the letter you'd think we were being charged with 1st degree murder

Question
I am having a great time at Binghamton.BrightPsychology
I am having a great time at Binghamton. I adore most of my professors, and like a majority if my classes. The people here are generally friendly and there are over 200 student groups to get involved in. There are parties to go to if you want to, but the town isn't too great. One of my friends described it best "a bunch of trashy people sitting on their porches throwing garbage in the street" However, I came here to study, not to drink, and I'm getting a great education. There are tons of opportunities for undergraduates to be research assistants, and even do their own research. You could leave here not only with a BA or BS, but also being published in a scientific journal as an undergraduate. I think that's really cool. Some of the professors aren't too nice and some people are really annoying but you are going to find that wherever you go. I'm pissed off about some of the administrations policies; like the housing lottery and becoming a division I school, but it's to be expected when you go to public school, you will be taken advantage of by corporate america instead of individual investors. That's life.
