A bit of advice for any incoming freshman/transferQuite BrightBiology
A bit of advice for any incoming freshman/transfer students - watch your bill. Drexel is only worried about the money they will make off of you. I started as a Chemical Engineering major and switched to Biology one quarter in; big mistake. Transferring into this school is ridiculously complicated and if you want to switch your major don't expect it to be an easy or smooth transition. I work so hard in my classes but I feel like I'm not really learning anything. Drexel runs on the quarter system instead of normal semesters, so you have 5 less weeks than other universities to learn all the information. Because of this, I feel like I'm being jipped of an education. My advisors in both the engineering department and the arts & sciences department have not even acted like they care about my situation. I felt like a number. I'm transferring very soon.

Drexel's Co-op program allows you to get yourBiology
Drexel's Co-op program allows you to get your foot in the door while you're still in school? That way the people at the company can see what you can do, and if you perform well, you will be at the top of the hiring list (you will also end up with a higher starting salary Drexel ended up getting hired by top companies and some of them went on to top graduate and professional schools like MIT and Harvard Medical School. So if you want to get into some of the world's leading companies, Drexel should be high on your list.

Question
School is by no means worth attending, onceQuite BrightBiology
School is by no means worth attending, once your in it is extremely difficult to transfer out of due to the unusual quarter scheduling and the recommended courses of study. There are some good teachers, but there are more bad ones. When I say bad, I mean it can be impossible to get a good grade in certain classes with certain teachers, regardless of how smart, charming, and studious you are.
