I said I feel safe, drexel is supposedly a dangerous school but I still feel safe cause I personally am not afraid of black people or the ghetto, we are near a somewhat ghetto area but you are all good, unless you see a "maroon car with yellow tags," 6 different people got robbed 6 different times by this person, everyone got an email.

drexel is rated one of americas ugliest campuses... for reals tho
it is also pretty hard to get a coop because the job market is kinda bad right now, Drexel says all these things, like getting a coop is easy, i havent applied for a coop yet, but all my friends got a crappy ass coop or one that is hella far, and i know a couple people that couldnt get a job during the coop rounds and they had to do an independent search, some of the coops are unpaid too.

I am transferring out because I dont like drexel at all, there are soooooo many douchebags and fakes. you can find people who are cool but you might still get done dirty by your friends cause no one wants to send the invite, they just want to be invited. so many people are hella shallow too. Im not saying that this will definitely happen to you, but there is a good chance. most of the people I know were thinking about transferring cause they know exactly what I mean but they didn't end up doing it for some reason.

I know a good amount of people, and they like me a lot, but they dont seem to want to hang out ever either cause they are busy or they are hanging out in their room and not doin shit, or they go out and party or go somewhere and dont send the invite.

if you dont use facebook then dont go here cause so many people use facebook and use that as a means of regular communication as opposed to hanging out and stuff. i dont really use facebook cause its like talking to a brick wall, you post shit on other peoples walls and crap, usually about shit they did and are showing off "oh hey look at me at this party driking beer and stuff, (red cup in hand)." I aint really into all that, facebook is a cool idea, but i aint really into being 'digital friends.'

Philly is a cool city if you go out and explore it, but no one i know wants to do something unless if its 'fun,' which is defined as partying or something like that, going out into the city isn't having fun per say, but it is actually fun to explore the city, they only want to go do something if there is something happening, instead of creating something to do

Some of the teacher in the sophomore level classes are really bad teachers, i mean really bad, some are good though. there are also some freshman engineering classes which arent really useful, but they want you to take a bunch of different classes so that you know more about engineering in general. also, some of the sophomore level classes are absolutely pointless, but you still have to do them regardless, and some are kind of pointless. I would say that computer engineering at drexel, for the first two years at least, are easy, except for some of the classes (im not good at chemistry in general, etc), or they are bullshit classes which were made for the students to do horribly in (EPED 1 and 2, linear algebra and dynamics engineering(i.e. linear algebra 2))

Question
I've had an overall positive college experience overSuper BrilliantEngineering Department
I've had an overall positive college experience over the past few years. The school improves dramatically every year since i've been here. I fit in very well with the social scene as it is not overwhelming so I can party when I want and study when I want while still having a good time.

The co-op system is unrivaled and you won't even mind going to school year round...besides most students that I know of at other universities work during the summer anyways to make extra money for school...so class actually takes up less hours. I currently make almost 1000 dollars a week at my current co-op and plan to stay on after graduation.

Campus is a little small, but penn is right there with the good shops/restaurants/bars/parties...etc. Professors are normally very knowledgeable about their fields and well qualified. Academics are tough as an engineer, but the experience is certainly well worth it.
