This school has it all: a quality education, a beautiful, safe campus, and friendly-to-a-fault students. WONDERFUL.

Question
If i had the chance to re-aply toQuite BrightArt & Design Department
If i had the chance to re-aply to all of the other in-state Virginia colleges i would still pick James Madison. Although we have a huge reputation as a party school(which we are) and as a majority girls school (which we are 60/40) the whole package of JMU goes way beyond that. Im not gonna lie, i do go out every weekend (and some weekdays) to party, but i also play a bunch of sports here and am really involved. The school makes it so easy to join clubs and sports and get involved. I was most surprised at how friendly everyone at JMU was right off of the bat. The few bad things about JMU are mostly aesthetic. 1. the Campus is huge and there is limited parking so you have to walk everywhere.....uphill. JMU is most definitly on a mountain. I lost 20 pounds walking up and down all these hills and gained a beautiful set of calf muscles. 2. I have never seen so much snow in my life. I am from the south so im not used to snow, but it was ridiculous. ( i may have just cought a bad year though. 3. Some of the freshman dorms are not great especially the ones built in the 60's. They are live-able, but often dont have air-conditioning or facilities that make sense. Thoes are the only 3 complaints that i have. We have awesome dining facilities spread out all over campus with all types of food. We have a great bus service, and campus police. I would definitly recommend this to any student who wants a classic campus/college life. You wont regret it!
