PCC prepared me to be the best nurseNursing
PCC prepared me to be the best nurse I could be. I had no problem adjusting to the "real-world" workplace. PCC polished me, helped me to become well-spoken, and made me able to handle the difficult people situations that can occur in a hospital setting. The instructors (while tough) were helpful. If you choose to go to PCC, be prepared to submit to authority. There are a lot of rules, but looking back, I realize more and more that they were for my good & helped me more than harmed me. PCC has a beautiful campus and great facilities. The Christian environment and friends helped me grow spiritually. Overall a very positive experience - especially since I also found a great husband there...

Question
PCC's greatest impact is what some teens considerBusiness - Management and Administration
PCC's greatest impact is what some teens consider its greatest drawback. If you are wanting to make it in the professional world, you will need to learn to dress the part. PCC's emphasis on office dress WILL prepare you for the professional world. As someone that is currently in the business world and who works daily with VP's of publicly traded companies, your clothing does make a difference.

While you will be spending money to buy khakis and collared, think of this as an investment in your wardrobe for when you graduate. You’ll need this kind of investment for interviews, etc…

I was able to transition nicely into the professional world simply BECAUSE of PCC's dress code.
Simply put, at PCC you are expected to dress and act the part of a business professional. I appreciate PCC’s “heads-up” in preparing not only my wardrobe but the discipline needed to succeed.

If you are wanting to be successful: 1) Attend PCC; 2) Wisely apply college guidelines and look for ways to use them for your future advantage; 3) Realize that college is not an extension of high school but a sharpening of your natural skills.
