As a pastor, it is hard for meReligion/Religious
As a pastor, it is hard for me to openly condemn fellow Christians, but in this case, I feel it is the right thing to do. After being asked by the college administration to come here and write a good review to offset the bad ones, then seeing many reviews on here that are absolutely coming from a small group of people in the Administration who are trying to cover up the truth, I before God, must be open and honest.

PCC does have a beautiful campus, some of the faculty and staff are great people, and some majors are pretty good, but over the years the bad far outweighs the good.

For instance, students do agree to the very strict rules, but the administration lies and uses spy and reward methods for the smallest things. The thing I have the biggest problem with is that the administration, which once I beleive had the right ideals at heart, has lost sight of what's important even beofre Christ, and some of the results are unbelievable.

To them, image is every thing. That's why many of us got an e-mail to come "fix this" for their image sake. They will lie in many forms, hold your grades over your head to pressure you, show incredible favoritism depending on their interests, adn the lists goes on. In just a few years, most administrators and over half the faculty and staff have left because of the abuse of power which takes place. The former pastor, there for almost 30 years after graduating, cannot support the hypocrisy anymore. The same goes for many VPs who left recently, and hundreds more who have committed to leaving at the end of this school year.God is no longer honored here! I along with many, many pastors around the country try to warn our young people before they fall into this trap. My advice - pray very much about where God would have you, and follow His leading. Would He ever lead anyone else to PCC - possible, but not too likely.

Question
PCC is a horrible place to go.Super BrilliantAgriculture/Horticulture
PCC is a horrible place to go. If you are a "normal" person, you are an outcast. They are a breeding ground for brownnosers and tattletales. If you want to learn how to be run over in your job and answer "yes" to everything you are asked to do without question, PCC is the place for you. If you want to learn to be controlled in every area of your life, PCC is a place for you.

I've read comments that were written by PCC's marketing department and/or sap secretaries who don't know any better than to work there because the reliance PCC builds into its students and staff is sickening, that say that PCC is not a "party school," etc. Not only is PCC not a "party school," it's like going to elementary school all over again.

When you're in college, it's a chance to grow and get to know yourself. You are severely stifled when you graduate from PCC. You have to call people who are less than five years older than you "Miss" and "Mister". This is not the case is a normal school. PCC has trolls her search out for people to try to get them expelled. Go to Wal-Mart on a Saturday, you will see a PCC troll strategically placed to write girls up if their skirts don't cover their knee. It's ridiculous. Don't go there. It's a waste of time and money. By the way, the degree is not accredited and the place has the decor of a circus.

Question
The longer I am away from PCC, theBrightNursing
The longer I am away from PCC, the more I realize I never want to go back! Although my major was decent, that is the exception to the rule. Lack of accreditation and inexperienced faculty are not the biggest problem though. Even worse is the condescending super-spiritual attitude of the administration and some faculty and staff. I am convinced they have become a new cult we will hear more about in future years. They would never admit it, but they do operate under the prinicple that the end justifies the means. What won't they tell you to start with - say hi to a guy in the wrong place, and you can't communicate or sit next to any guys for TWO WEEKS. Say Hi to when not on campus, and you get EXPELLED! Student leaders get goody two shoes points for "turning in" others for little things like going to McDonalds, because you only scanned off to Burger King - yes, policy for leaving campus is similar to a minimum security prison! And if you openly dare to question their reasons, the question whether Jesus actually saved you or not! I believe in God's will, but if you are considering this college, do your research carefully, because once you get into it, it is totally different than the picture they paint. Be very careful!
