Date: Sep 26 2004 Major: English (This Major's Salary over time) I currently work with high school seniors, and I do not recommed PCC. It was a bizarre 4 years. There are so many rules they have that I feel have no biblical basis. They preach their convictions as doctrine and distort scripture to guilt students into submission. So many of my friends disappeared in the middle of the night. The deans would buy a plane ticket, put it on the student's bill, and my friends would be gone by morning. They have so many rules, you would expect people to be kicked out if there was a reason or a specific rule broken, but that was not always the case. Many of my friends were told,
It is a privelege to attend here, and after watching you, we do not feel that you have conformed to the standards that we set for our students.
I regret attending there ,but once you start, you are stuck. The college is not accredited, so if you transfer, you have to start all over. Some Christians need an enviroment where they are constantly monitored and held to the highest levels of accountability. For that type of Christian, PCC would be a good option. If you are already a grounded, spiritually growing person, I would not recommend PCC. I found in my own experience, PCC stunted me spiritually, distorted my view of God, and left me with a bitternes that I had to work through after graduation.
