Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I think a lot of the negativity on this board aimed at UW Madison is from (mainly) Wisconsin Students who either cannot handle the university's academics ( and blame "bureaucracy" or "feeling like a number", or "UW dosen't live up to its reputation"). Most likely a lot of people relize how average they are compared to the demands of the scholl and fellow classmates. Success at UW, like real life, is dependent on one's ability to distinguish oneself and rely on personal ability. If one can be successful at an institution the size ( and with the reputation and demands) of UW one is prepared to take life head on. I think the majority of the criticism toward UW (or many other great schools) is mostly from people who simply cannot make the cut. That being said UW is a great school with a great reputation and in terms of tuition cost ( for in-state students) one of the best values in the country.
