I am about to complete my first semester here at Yale and I am very much enjoying it. At first, there's always an adjustment period. But the people here are great and I have already made better friends than I did in high school. Classes are challenging but not so challenging that you can't do well in them. If you come here expecting a 4.0 you will be disappointed.Faculty have been great. They take you to their houses for dinner and discussion and out to lunch for review for exams. They truly care how well you do. New Haven itself isn't all that great. If you're used to always participating in city life then you might be disappointed. Food is pretty good. There's enough of a variety in food and dining halls that you should be able to find something you want. I love it and definitely recommend Yale.
