Voted number one party school in the nation, but it's only a party school if you make it a party school. Quality of education is just below top UC schools and Ivy League schools. Hundreds of fun activities and great sports. Beautiful and clean campus. Good off campus food around Madison. Residence halls are located next to Lake Mendota- it's like having a lakeside home. Overall, great campus- deserves title of 7th best public university.

Do I have a shot at getting into Madison if my GPA is a 3.1-3.2 and im aiming for a 24-26 on the ACT. I have taken advanced placement classes and will take post secondary classes next year. I play a sport, have a part time job, and volunteer. If i write a good essay do you think i will have a shot? I really want to go here it looks like such a great school!
