I loved PCC. I had a great social life, the academics were great. I always felt safe within their wisely chosen rules. Those who dislike the rules do not realize what it would be like without them. It is so nice to be somewhere where you are safe from bad influences and are free to develop as a Christian person without seeing junk going on around you.Going to PCC was the best thing I could ever have done, and I would recommend it to anyone who has a good attitude. I know that many people on this site complain, but honestly as somebody who has been there, most people who are actually at PCC love it. The ones who are disgruntled are the ones who want to vent on the internet. None of my friends, and I mean none of them and I had a lot, disliked PCC. We all loved it. I never even had any roommates who didn't like it. I had two suitemates who didn't, but I don't think they would have been happy wherever htey were. Don't think that everybody there is unhappy. Most of us are extremely happy. If you aren't happy then you don't have to be there. The administration and faculty are caring people, and the deans don't exactly enjoy stopping people who are doing wrong. If you know there is a rule and you break it then you have no business being insulted when you get the consequence that you knew was coming. If you are doing what you are supposed to be doing, then you will have no problems. I had almost no demerits in my years at PCC and I'm not some freak who panics about being perfect. i just went through my daily life doing what I should be doing anyway and I was fine. Most of the people who get in trouble either 1) blatantly broke a rule 2) didn't bother to find out what the rule was and decided to do their own thing without asking or 3) were just careless. I loved PCC, I would definitely go there again if I had it to do over again. God has made a miracle there. Praise Him for it!
