Date: Mar 26 2007 Major: Religion/Religious (This Major's Salary over time) Pensacola Christian College is not the same school I graduated from in 1988. Before there was a spirit of service, now there is a spirit of arrogance. PCC has publicly made a fool of itself with the KJV only debate. For religious studies students this is something to be concerned about. They hold some incorrect positions on Bible translations. If you graduate from the college your degree brands you with those crazy positions. I am conservative in theology and orthadox in practice, but PCC is way out there.I do not tell anyone that I graduated from PCC and PCC doesn't acknowledge I graduated from there. If you don't fit their mold and agree with their position, they will have nothing to do with you. Isn't that REALLY Christian?I don't even get the alumni emails anymore.Today I pastor a Southern Baptist Church of approximately 700 members. My degree from PCC had nothing to do with me getting this pastorate. In fact it was a major hurdle to cross to convince the pulpit committee that I was not a PCC clone. If you feel called to the ministry…don't go to PCC…look at Liberty, think about Tennessee Temple, consider Cedarville, go by Bob Jones, but forget PCC!
