Why bother applying?

Okay so I was all ready to head out to Wisconsin and try it out. I decided to ignore the negative comments and just focus on experiencing new things. Then, I realized that Wisconsin never sent me my financial aid packet and the date to turn in my deposit was fast approaching. So I called them and guess what? They didn't know when they would get around to my financial aid but they still expected me to spend $100+ by May 1st and if I didn't I would lose my spot. I couldn't believe that they wanted me to make my decision without even knowing if I would be able to afford to go. The lady at the admissions office was rude and didn't seem to care about my problems at all! For those who haven't applied yet and are out of state, don't bother, even if you want to go they won't make it possible for you to.
