Major: Physics (This Major's Salary over time)
My experience here has been absolutely wonderful. I majored in both math and physics, and I felt the coursework was more difficult and heavier than I expected in both subjects. The classes were extremely challenging, but I never once felt my classmates and I were competing for the top grade. However, for premed students, I have heard a different reputation regarding grades. The competition is extremely cutthroat there, and premed/biology students always seem so tense about their studies.I can personally say that other departments aren't nearly as challenging, namely within the social sciences. Basically, the coursework will be as difficult or as easy as you choose, depending on the major. The city, I'll admit, is seriously lacking social activities. It's not exactly a small city, but given the weather (it snows into April and sometimes May) few people want to leave their warm beds. As a result, there really isn't much to do. Overall, it is a good school and I would recommend it to anyone.
