Short version: Take my word for it: DO NOT come to PCC. Longer version: Many people who have, over the years, posted negative comments all over the internet, including here, impress me as being mostly nothing but a bunch of whining crybabies. The Lord called me to PCC, and He has had my best interests at heart. I have tremendously grown spiritually here, made many friends at all levels of the school (undergrad, grad, staff, faculty, and administration), learned a great deal of useful and applicable information, and will be forever thankful for coming here. I have been here for more than the normal four years (won't say how much longer), and am looking forward to graduating. I have had no significant trouble with the rules, and have found most of the Student Life personnel (in the men's division; the women's division is a whole different story) to genuinely care for the students and their well-being. Yes, the rules can seem excessive, but it's still liveable, unless you are one of the whining crybabies previously mentioned, and nearly every rule has a good reason behind it.So why have I coded this as a negative review? The school has changed drastically for the worse, and is going in a direction that deeply disturbs me. It is definitely not the PCC I came to know and love over the first few years of my college career. The problem is not Student Life; it's the administration. I cannot and will not explain or go into details here, but trust me: do NOT come to PCC! Though it breaks my heart to have to say that, I can't possibly emphasize that enough. I would still, with reservations, recommend PCC to potential nursing students (I hear we have one of the best nursing programs in the nation); otherwise here are my recommendations: if the Lord has called you into the ministry (like myself, praise God!), go to Crown College (www.thecrowncollege.com) or West Coast Baptist College (www.wcbc.edu). If you're going into any other area, go to Bob Jones University (www.bju.edu). JUST PLEASE DON'T COME HERE!!!
