UWM is a lot different than what I expected. It doesn't have the feel of a college. Pretty much anybody can get in and the majority of the student body are commuters. The student body has an impersonal feel to it and there is no school spirit to be found. The school work isn't too demanding, but a lot of the students don't even try. The campus is very compact and urban. You can get across it in five minutes. No professional sports besides soccer or basketball. Hardly any greek life. The majority of the students that live on campus live in one dorm, Sandburg. Most of the professors are decent. There are a lot of armed robberies around campus. Milwaukee is also a dirty city with not much to do unless you like professional sports or you're 21+.

I wouldn't recommend this school unless you're from the area or you're interested in the arts or architecture departments. It feels more like a community college. It's decent, but not what I was looking for.
