Major: Math (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm a freshman here at PCC. I came hoping to find God & strengthen my walk with Him. I was truly disappointed. I did not find God, all I found was religion. Thankfully, God is with me no matter where I go, even in places that, in some ways, dishonor Him. I believe that the administration and faculty have good intentions, but those good intentions are sometimes "hidden" by the legalism and "holier than thou" attitudes that are displayed by some (not all). I'm not writing this review to complain about the rules. It was my choice to come here. This is not "my" school, therefore I do not get to make the rules. If I don't like the rules, then I can get out or choose to obey. On the flip side of things, the kids who come here and try to "beat the system" are just as wrong (more so even) than the hypocritical people who practice legalism. I'm tired of the attitudes. I'm tired of the "bragging" about "what I got away with". You sound really silly and childish when you do that :)—we're adults, remember??Most of the comments that I've read, the person either loves PCC or hates PCC. I put my comment under the name "neutral" because I neither love or hate the school. There are good people and there are bad people here. People tend to focus on the bad, which is probably why there are so many negative comments on this site. Yes, a lot of them bear truth. Yes, this school best suits homeschoolers and sheltered types (not a bad thing). So, do i recommend this school? Yes—to some…Am I staying at PCC—No…PS. I gotta reference this bcuz i saw a couple of other comments say— lol—that 1 cracked me up—as if God is limited as far as where He can and cannot go LOL!!! BTW: Dr. Valica is amazing!!!
