Major: Civil Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
At UMaine I spent my first year and a half in electrical engineering and 3 years in civil engineering. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at UMaine. You get out of UMaine what you put in, not everything will be spoon fed or handed to you. The education quality in the college of engineering at UMaine is pretty good. The work can be challenging,so you have to be ready to work. The cost of tuition is reasonable and a good value, however the costs are rising each year. I would recommend UMaine to anyone looking to study engineering and doesn't want to pay too much.
