Pensacola Christian College has been a nightmare. Don't come here. It's not worth the low price. It has the aura of a cult to it, and my year here has been miserable. To give you an idea of their delightful rules, just know that women are not permitted to leave the dorm with wet hair, alledgedly because it causes men to picture then in the shower, women cannot leave campus by themselves if they are under 21, a huge percentage of the campus is considered "unchaperoned," and there will be consequences of you are seen with someone of the opposite sex in these locations - yet they are not marked as unchaperoned. Women are no longer permitted to use the diving boards in the pool because men can see them from one of the residence halls. A woman's parents may take her and her male acquaintance off campus, but the man's parents may not. After having been here long enough, students are afraid of the real world. I know people who are genuinely afraid to leave campus because of the image PCC portrays of normal people. It's a very stressful place to live; I am constantly paranoid because it seems like you can be punished for ANYTHING.
