Prior to matriculating at USC, I thought IBrightEconomics
Prior to matriculating at USC, I thought I was going to be surrounded by smart and intellectual students who took their academics seriously. In fact I was excited to be a trojan when I got my acceptance package (as well as acceptance to UCLA, Georgetown, Berkeley, COrnell and Washington). To be frank, I would have attended one of the schools listed in the parenthesis. Why? Because the majority of the undergrad students are engrossed in frats and sororities. You see many snobby soririty girls who don't even talk to non-sorority or frat students. Los ANgeles is also a shallow and dirty city to live in. I have to admit that UCLA is a totally better campus because of its location in Westwood. The students at UCLA are also more polite, have manners and UCLA has a smaller greek life population. USC is also STILL a football school. Students are berserk on home game days. In fact many frat boys love to make noise in the libraries on football game days when a horde of them stand in line saying f-words and other cusses that comes to mind. It's so disgusting that I don't study at the library on home football game days. Lastly, the dorms are sh-tty...plain sh-tty. There is roach, cricket and ant problems. The maintenance crew takes decades to come to your room to spray roach repellents or other insect repelling agents.

Question
Prior to matriculating at U$C for college, IQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Prior to matriculating at U$C for college, I was a student at Cornell's high school program. THe reason why I chose U$C was the scholarship I received. I was hoping to study in an intellectual environment where students take their academics seriously. Unfortunately, that is not the case at U$C. There's only a small pinch full of scholarship based students at SC. Others came to USC because they come from rich families, or couldn't get inot UCLA. In addition, many students tend to join fraternities and sororities, and party till they puke their guts out. Student also have no respect for one another. For example, if you tell your neighbor to turn his/her music down, they will not listen. U$C students also tend to be materialistic. If you like Greek life, and no intellectual environment...then USC is the right school for you. If not...don't make the wrong decision like I did...chose an Ivy League college (or a college similar to Ivy League such as Stanford, Northwestern, Georgetown...).

Question
I really disliked some of my professors.Average
I really disliked some of my professors. In fact my TA for my marketing class, part of the Marshall Businses school was racist. She consistently gave me low scores because I'm a minority student. Then the students. The student body at USC is very segregated as opposed to UCLA's students. The surrounding community of USC is also dangerous. In fact recently, there were two stabbing incidents right off the campus. One of the victims was a USC student.
