Pensacola Christian College

Having teachers with real-world experience would have been nice. All of the teachers in my major earned their degree from PCC then went straight into teaching at the college. I didn't have anyone who had actually earned a living doing what they were teaching. As a result, they didn't really know what was happening in the industry or what the trends were. Some of the required classes should not have been required. Why on earth should calligraphy be required for a journalism student? If they were really in touch with the industry, they'd also know that principles of drawing is an archaic class. I have yet to see a job posting for a writer/editor that requires them to illustrate their own work. Photography skills are more in demand than drawing skills. The program needs to be revamped.

I am a '94 graduate who had issues with the non-accredited status of the college. I believe that I received a quality education, but could not use my degree. Research accreditation.Too much focus on following rules that overshadowed personal relationship with Christ.

If a college has to ask the current students and alumni to post good comments about them, then this should be a sign to you.

My children will never attend this college, their father and I met here, and it took us years to become deprogramed reguarding their percieved view of being a Christian.

I believe that even Jesus Himself would have been campused, and recieved demerits. they do not practice forgiveness, but condemnation. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING HERE. FIND A GOOD COLLEGE THAT NOT ONLY TEACHES THE LOVE OF CHRIST, BUT DEMONSTRATES IT ALSO.
