Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I was reading random comments in this reviewNot so bright
I was reading random comments in this review until I came accross one I had to comment on. The comment was written by a nursing major who was strongly defending the intrests of the college. Her point was that the only thing we need to prepare for PCC and make it through is a positive attitude. This comment was obviously created to rebuttal the negative comments from those who claimed to have a horrible experience with the school. I will concede to the fact that many of the negative comments, which have a point, can be quite extreme. However, I am more concerned with the suggestion to rely on a positive attitude when going through the undergrad program at PCC. People who are constantly trying to keep a positive attitude tend to stifle their own ability to think and act on their own. I am all for keeping a positive attitude, but it can be taken to an extreme. There are MAJOR flaws in the philosophies of the school and their doctrinal views. Every person involved in the administration of the school, down to the desk worker, represent the very philosophies the school is trying to portray. So, making very sincere hard attempts to keep a positive attitude to things that do not make sense can keep people... great.. sorry I will have to finish this later because I need to go back to school before lights out.. Sorry about that, bad timing on my part. I will get back to you later:)

Question
With all of my contact with varying opinionsBright
With all of my contact with varying opinions about pcc, i have concluded one common denominator: ability and willingness to recognize authority and to follow instructions. a high school taecher taught me, if you woulde only follow directions, thing almost always turn out ok. so, if you're looking to attend pcc, really look inside and decide how it is you actually feel about authority and "rules. rules. rules." there are a lot of rules. many of them somewhat strict. but as long as you have a Christ-honoring view of authority, there should be no problem at all.

Question
It hurts me that
It hurts me that PCC is not accredited. PCC does not have a good academic reputation. I was also not well-prepared to think through things for myself and make decisions on my own.
