Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Not from a Christian family and being theBright
Not from a Christian family and being the only one in my family that's "saved"; PCC faculty and students constantly put me under pressure to "witness" to members of my family. At this school your NOT encouraged to express your personal opinions or questions that may go against PCC's teachings. On more than one occasion I've been stopped and humiliated in front of my speech class for mundane topics and words such as: halloween, Buddhism, and a statistic for teen pregnancy during an introductory speech. This school is intended for sheltered fundamentalist Christians who believe anything they hear without question. If your a new Christian however, especially one who's inquisitive about your faith, be extremely careful and do not go to this school! After going to PCC i honestly have no interest in Christianity anymore. It made me understand how brainwashed those people truly are. I view PCC not as a institution of higher education, but a cult for the willing.

Question
Positive: If you are looking for a good
Positive: If you are looking for a good education at a reasonable price away from home then PCC could be the right place for you.

Negative: It is important for you to know that you will have to abide by "many" rules and regulations that are generally enforced by power hungry individuals (floorleaders). I think that the excess rules desensitizes students to the rules and I know many generally honest people that would have no problem lying at PCC because the rules are so ridiculous. In short if you have a problem with rules or confinement to a small area with many people then you should definitely not attend PCC.

In summary: Went, graduated, have a good job that I love. The education was good the rules and atmosphere sucked.

I absolutely loved PCC.
I absolutely loved PCC. It is a great opportunity to study what you desire in a safe, Christian environment. I learned much that helped me academically, professionally, and spiritually. I feel that PCC gave me a well-rounded education that help prepare me for my current ministry.
