“I finished my EE in almost 3 yearsNot so bright
I finished my EE in almost 3 years in this university. The EE department is absolutely broken. Lazy professors who don't teach well and do no good research have made this department one of the worst. If you want to study EE go to NC State. This department has a long way to go to get to a good standing position. The university claims to be a research intensive university, which is absolutely false. They think by having more buildings they become good, they don't understand that they need to change their vision about research and teaching. Definitely not a place to be for Grad school. They have no funding and good classes usually don't meet since there are not enough participants.

“Contrary to most of the posts here, UNCCAccounting
Contrary to most of the posts here, UNCC is more than just an English major University.. I have heard bad stories about that dept but so what!!! UNCC is not a bad school. School is what you make of it and as long as you pick a good major, things WILL work out for you, period. I was an accounting major and as my senior year came to a close, I already had 7 interviews lined up and had accepted a job a month before graduation! Hmmm? I have been working for a year now and planning on going to grad school for MBA or MAcc in another year.. I will probably go elsewhere, like Charleston or UGA for grad school, but UNCC is not as bad as everyone says it is...

“I aced every course.Quite BrightEnglish
I aced every course. I had no problems with my undergrad required courses. However, my major (English) professors were horses' behinds. Applying to this university was my first mistake. Attending it was my second. Staying was my third. Hopefully, I'll be able to recover the disgrace of having attended this university will be somewhat ameliorated by my acceptance to a top-tier grad school. I have NEVER had problems with teachers before, and I had problems with the English department ONLY. The profs who taught my minor were great. Go figure.
