If you are thinking about going here, please think again. STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HELL HOLE. So first of all, this school has absolutely no appeal to it other than it's in Charlotte. For most people, that means that you can just commute to school and save money while going to school. I thought that would be the plan, but I was sadly mistaken. Not only is the parking pass almost 400 dollars, but my pathetic excuse for an education is expensive too. I seriously feel like I am wasting so much time here. None of the teachers care about any of the students because it's a research university. Their first job is to do research for the school and their second job is to be a teacher. They don't invest enough time in with the kids and so students feel as if they shouldn't invest any time into learning.

There is nothing to do on campus because there is no one ever there. Everyone goes home on the weekends or commutes. However, if you have made the terrible mistake of going to/applying at this school, try to get out as fast as possible. Just beware that pretty much every other university in NC doesn't have a general education requirement like UNCC because Charlotte makes you take a bunch of stupid classes that are pointless.

Charlotte was my first choice over NCSU and ECU. The best decision I could have possibly made. I love the city, the campus has such a wonderful atmosphere, and there is always things going on. Greek life is expanding and academic programs are getting more and more competitive. I am very proud to be a 49er and its a great feeling to be a part of the fastest growing university in the state of NC. Many great things are on the way.

Question
I transferred from Appalachian State University.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
I transferred from Appalachian State University. I would say this was the mistake of my life. Uncc is a horrible university and as a current student I have developed a strong hatred for the university and it's facility. I have never been treated so badly on an everyday basis. This has been the biggest waste of my time and money. I beg you please don't make my mistake. Last semester I was 6 months from graduating and they waited a week before class started and kicked me out of every class I was in. I was registered 4 months before school was supposed to start. They did this to 200 other people, they forced us into classes they couldn't fill and replace our seats because the overbooked. They made over 3 million dollars and set me back 2 years for some bs reason.
