The snow really isn't that bad-- just bundleBrightArchitecture
The snow really isn't that bad-- just bundle up and go outside (its not like you have classes on the Arts Quad in 2 feet of snow). Really a great school, lots of opportunities for different things. Great Greek scene; Collegetown is unique and memorable with its bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Cornell is great. World class resources at your fingertips.

Question
Cornell is an incredible institution with a plethoraArchitecture
Cornell is an incredible institution with a plethora of majors and academic possibilities combined with a wide range of extracurriculars and athletics to boot. Ithaca may be boring but it is too beautiful to pass up. Most of the social life revolves around Collegetown and the Greek system, but most kids are happy with this. I've made so many awesome friends and even though I'm not too keen about my major so far, I've never been happier elsewhere. I highly recommend Cornell to anyone who is serious about academics but also wants to have a good time in school.

Question
I hate Cornell.Quite BrightArchitecture
I hate Cornell. Nobody is going to make an effort to get to know you. Nobody will tell you how the system works, what you need to do to be successful. I came here not knowing anyone in the state of New York and almost all the people I've met I feel are insane. People here talk about how sketchy everyone else is and basically just talk shit about everyone they met while getting drunk the night before. Girls are so caught up in appearances. You probably won't see any girls wearing t-shirts or backpacks. They think they're 25 years old or something. I haven't overheard a single intellectual conversation in 3 years, unless it was between indian or asian students. People in the dorms don't flush the toilets, unless someone is in the shower so the water temperature gets all fucked up. There is no parking anywhere on campus or off campus. Professors are fucking dumb. You won't learn anything. The food is shitty despite the advertising. Girls act like they are either millionaire businesswomen or children, no one acts their age. it's a crazy crazy place. Oh yeah, the sports they like are fucking crew and hockey...wtf?
