Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I wish PCC hadEducation
I wish PCC had been more up front with the rules. I also wish more of the faculty had advanced, earned degrees from other institutions. I fealt that my education was extremely substandard.

Question
PCC does more harm than good and areBrightComputer Science
PCC does more harm than good and are too blinded by their standards and sticking to their stuff to see it. It is a curse that will only be lifted once they do not punish the entire student body on the basis of a few people taking advantage of the "privileges" students receive. Through research of graduates and those who did not make it through to graduation it has been proven that this institution, because of it's policies and practices, has ruined more Christian's than nearly any other institution professing to be rooted in fundamental Christianity.

Question
You will read enough about the rules andComputer Science
You will read enough about the rules and attitudes of the school and faculty without needing me to add why I disagree with the scool as well. My education itself was reasonable and thorough at the time I attended. The programming languages were a bit behind and the computer equipment was well over five years old. Computer Science students were not allowed to directly work with the mainframe that ran the department which inhibited our level of learning. We were not taught admin level duties which would have helped us later. At the present PCC does not allow internet access to their students through dialup or other means. Email is only allowed in very special cases where the student's parents live out of the country. Without proper internet access it is impossible to keep up with the latest in the information technology world. Having to rely on paper periodicals in the library does not cut it. Especially when students are not allowed to visit any other library except for the one at PCC. The public library and other university libraries are off limits. If a student could put up with the restrictions on their personal lives and with the lack of accreditation, the quality of the computer science education severely lacks even though the teachers are very good.
