The dorms are very, very nice. I visited many schools and these dorms were the best, hands down. Carpeting, nice walls, semi-private bathrooms, student lounges. The campus is pretty but some of the buildings are 1960's riot-proof-ugly. Within walking distance of the loop, Grant Park, free unlimited public transportation. There is a lot of "diversity" here. If you are from another country you will fit in here. I feel uncomfortably sometimes because I am in the minority. It's ok, though.
