Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
St.Joe's is not the place for you if you are creative or liberal. I wanted to be an English major there, because I want to be a writer. However, when I talked with the assistant dean in academic career services (who helps you pick a major) she said that the Eng.major @St.Joe's is if you want to be an English teacher. While there are some theater and art classes, you won't have art or drama as majors. On Freshman Orientation Day in September, one of the group leaders described something as "gay". Coming from a relatively liberal public high school, her nonchalantly using this word to describe something weird was offensive. There are no GBLT clubs at St.Joes b/c of lack of student support.
