UW-Madison is especially a good school if you come from Wisconsin or New York or New Jersey. Most of the students are either Wisconsin residents, or very East-coast like… and the two groups do not inner-mix. This makes it harder for out-of-state students who are not from Wisconsin or New York or Jersey to find their niche.
