Major: Anthropology (This Major's Salary over time)
The Biological Anthropology & Anatomy department is truly one of the best in the world. It includes the Primate Center and the Division of Fossil Primates, both of which are extensive in their collections of Lemurs and Prosimian fossils, respectively. Students have easy access to both through classes and research. Also, their collection of casts of significant fossils in human evolution was wonderful. These casts are used mostly in the introductory BAA class and any classes dealing with human evolution. It was such a unique experience to have legends within the field of BAA teaching classes (like Dr. Elwin Simons!). I would recommend this major to anyone interested in primates, evolution, anatomy, and any related fields.
