U of I is a large, diverse midwestern university. Like other Big 10 schools, what you get out of it about what you put into it. It is a picturesque, compact campus, kind of isolated from major metropolitan areas.

As a busines major, I had professors who helped with my coursework and my career choices. People are extremely nice.

Live in a dorm your freshman and sophomore year, then move out to an apartment on S. Johnson St.
