First of all, I'm sorry to say, but at SU, the people here are like 80% airheads, assholes, or just plain athletes. All of the good reviews here are from athletes who get credits for being on teams and who literally party all the time. For intellectuals- go elsewhere, please. I often get so frustrated with the narrow mindedness of people here. There's a lot of work to do, but it's not hard.

Second: Syracuse is ghetto. Broken down houses, gangs, creepy corners… etc. We had a driveby nearby our campus too one day, and not all of us got the alert. Downtown SUCKS, nothing to do, frat parties: if you've been to one, you've been to all of them… parties are meh… i had better times in senior year. And Carousel Mall sucks too.

Third: SEGREGATED. Don't expect the mixing of races. A lot of rich people, you'll see the BMW's all over the place and expensive clothing. Girls- skanks, Guys- assholes looking to get laid… all the time. Not many smart people.

Fourth: WEATHER IS ALMOST UNBEARABLE. Winters are worst than in Canada, I should know.. (SU is closer to the Great Lakes) So come with rain boots and winter boots- both waterproof.

Overall, I really really don't like this school, and if you're thinking of coming, think twice. Because I guarantee you a whole chunk of 2012 is transferring out.
