Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
My time at the University of Delaware was an amazing experience! The four years I spent there were truly the quickest four years of my life and I am so glad that I made UD my home for a little. Being an education major at UD was amazing. The program has a huge reputation across the country. I live in New York and principals of school districts love to hear that I graduated from UD. The program is intense, has a lot of work, but it is rewarding. You are in the teaching field your first semester freshmen year, which I think is very important. The professors are really knowledgable and I feel that I really learned a lot. I was definitely prepared for my first teaching job, which I started 2 weeks after graduation. The study abroad program is amazing. I studied abroad twice during two different winter sessions in Sydney, Australia and London, England. The experiences that I have had traveling across the world at 18 and 19 years old is something I will never forget. The social life at UD is awesome. As long as you are involved in something, you won't get lost in this big school. There are so many activities to join whether it's Greek Life, Club or Intramural Sports, Community Service Organizations, Clubs, and more. The opportunities here are endless and you will make lifelong friends from all over the country!
