Guilford has been a wonderful experience overall for me. There have been some bumps on the road during my ride here, but overall the scenery has been beautiful, the people fun, and the intellectual atmosphere stimulating. I will not lie, there are plenty of things that could be improved: the admistration could be more honest, the facilities better maintained, the professors better paid. But the godd things far outweigh the bad. The professors are, as a group, winderfully engaging teachers who truly treat each student as an individual. They try to make sure every viewpoint is heard and are always willing to meet outside of class to give any help necessary, often even outside of office hours. The students bring a wealth of different experiences to the school, and even though it is not as diverse in some ways (racially, politically) as one might like, it is pretty diverse for a small liberal arts school. Anyway, I'll quit rambling; if you want to find out what Guilford is really about, come spend a night on campus.
