Syracuse is a great school if you can weather the cold. It's a lot different than other campuses and that's why I suggest visiting first. I checked out NYU, BU & NE and Cuse was the perfect fit. I am really happy here and the kids actually want to be here even if it's just for the house parties. The academics are great too, all the schools Whitman, Newhouse, Smith, Falk are great. it's easy to take the easier professors as most students tend to but I highly suggest taking some challenging classes because it will make your college experience more worthwhile and you'll gain more than you can imagine. One thing I can tell you is to pick a professor and become their best friend, believe it or not they need some company and you never know what strings they will pull for you. Also do study abroad, you have to set your schedule a little earlier but it's the most eye opening experience. Scope out the better food places and manage your time so you CAN party, study, and sleep; not just two or the other. Goodluck!
