UD is awesome.Quite BrightAccounting
UD is awesome. College is mostly what you make of it. If you go out and do things other than sit in your dorm and party nonstop you will gain so much. There is so much to do on campus. Party scene isn't as great as it used to be, but you can still find some awesome parties if they haven't been broken up by cops. The campus isn't as safe as it once was, but honestly that's the way it is a lot of places now. You have to be smart -- not walk alone at night especially.

Question
When applying to the school I looked atQuite BrightAccounting
When applying to the school I looked at a lot of different private schools. But I am so happy I came to UD. I started out as a general business major, then almost chose Finance. I switched to accounting, and learned that the university really has a great career services placement center. If you're interested in accounting specifically (if you'd like to make good money :o)) take a hard look at UD. A lot of large public accounting firms (KPMG, E&Y, etc.) know UD very well and heavily recruit. The summer BEFORE my senior year, I was among a good handful of accounting students who had job offers from a few of the "Big 4" in various cities. Not necessarily because of my schoolwork (I am a straight-B student), but because the university made it very to network and get in on these interviews. That is my plug for the accounting program. A lot of friends of mine are education majors, engineers, etc. and all seem very satisfied with what the university has offered them. Plus it is a beautiful campus, and you can't beat Main Street.

If you are going to come here don't just come so you can say that you go here. If you are going to attend UD make a difference and stand out from the rest. Get to know the people that work and teach here. Trust me your stay will be even more enjoyable. Plus it doesn't hurt to have someone that will write a recommondation for you. You pay enough MONEY, Shouldn't you do something with the resources that are offered to you.
