Pensacola Christian College was the best decission IReligion/Religious
Pensacola Christian College was the best decission I have ever made. Yes, the rules are strict but in order to make it in this world one must have discipline. Employers are not looking for laid back employees they are looking for people who can do what is expected, when it is expected, the way they expect it to be done and when they expect. beyond the quality education I received I was prepared to meet all the above listed expectations. I would highly recomend PCC to any one. Do understand that PCC is strict. It is not for the goof off but for the serious student. Remember, "be ye Holy for I am Holy."

Question
Looking back at the ten years since IHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
Looking back at the ten years since I graduated, I can give a mature critique on my alma mater. In terms of academics, the staff were well prepared to teach their courses with the exception of a Business Law course in my senior year where the teacher was not disciplined enough to expound on the subject matter. Comraderie was good with many people desiring to get a good education and loving the Lord. Caution is advised for people who are of the Reformed (calvinsitic) faith that I hold. Attendance at the college's Campus Church is required for all students with few exceptions. The preaching is premilleninal, arminian and baptistic. Church government is not structured correctly, but that is for another discussion. The rules regarding early lights out gives a decided disadvantage to students under 21 years of age. I took advantage of my older age while in school and completed my studies late after the rest went to bed. I feel that this helped me significantly. The rule makes no sense. Being of the Reformed faith, I cannot recommend this school to fellow Reformed and Prsebyterians.

Question
My only word of warning is compare PCCBrightEducation
My only word of warning is compare PCC to other cults that you have read about or know about...there are just to many similarites. I went to PCC for one year and was so emotionally distressed that I lost nearly 30 lbs in one semester. The stress of the rules or "guidelines" was just to much...there was no freedom to think, grow as a Christian, or even truly worship the Lord. My realtionship with the Lord only grew becuase of the persecution! Besides the emotional side I am now trying to enroll in another college and hardly any of my credits are being accepted because PCC isn't accredited. Please consider that very carefully before you choose this college. As Christians we are not supposed to judge each other so I do not try to understand the motives of PCC or the people running it...but I personally don't feel this is a place where the Lord is honored.
