Fordham is, in most regards, a wonderful school.Quite BrightEconomics
Fordham is, in most regards, a wonderful school. What I perceive to be the best thing about Fordham is the collective sense of community. Truly, I saw most of the same people day in and day out, and felt like I was in a much smaller school. Pick your faculty carefully, and try and avoid graduate students. Every registration period, I deliberately choose the best professors available, not matter the date or time of the class. In my opinion, a great professor can make a dull class (like Faith and Critical Reason, a Freshman Core) a life changing experience. As with most big changes in life, people should approach entering college with an open mind. If you do, Fordham will return the favor and you will love it.

Question
I really dont like being here at FordhamQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
I really dont like being here at Fordham anymore. My grades suck and no matter what I do they never get better. Tutors, study groups, professors office hours, nothing works and they are all a waste of time. Its costing an ass load to go here and personally I think its the biggest waste of time and money. I'm in all liberal arts classes now before I would go to study on the business school portion and the worst part is these courses are ones I'll never use and are keeping me from even making it to business school. Plus a lot of the professors here are pompous assholes that think they are the ones who say the which way the world turns based on their mood for the day which then affects my grades (maybe not directly but it seems like it).

On another topic of why I hate it here is my roommates are possibly the worst ever. One is a total douche and the other is and asshole much like everyone here. They never respect any of my wishes, stuff, feelings, etc. and its getting to the point where if I have to stay here I am willing to commute so I don't have to deal with them anymore. I really wish I could just do 1 of 2 things:

1. fast forward 6 or 7 years and just work and possibly getting married and starting a family
2. start all over at an easier college (one that I can actually do well at without compromising my ideas)To sum it all up, Fordham is a complete lie from what we were told during tours and everything and I'm exposing it for what it is. For families getting ready to go through the college process, make sure you have your son/daughter spend time at the campus overnight with someone they know who will be honest about what the school is about.

Question
I loved my timeBrightCommunications
I loved my time at Fordham. Wouldn't have chosen anywhere else to go. School spirit is rising but our lackluster sports teams aren't helping that. Overall a great place to spend four years- abundance of activities and a diverse group of people.
