Okay, since I'm actually taking my time toSuper BrilliantMath
Okay, since I'm actually taking my time to rate GMU, I just want to say, Seriously, students need to get a life. Everywhere I go, there's ALWAYS someone smoking-99.99% of the people smoke and I literally can't breathe. I smell smoke whenever I'm walking and a person in front is walking while smoking his/her way in front of everybody's faces. It's just so fucked up.they hurt so many innocent people who are just there to get an education and get the hell outta there. I wonder how many people die out of cancer? anyway, I'm here because I chose to go to the SAFEST school ever, and it's kind of alright at first, but you realize everything's so dull quickly. the first building I went to was Innovation Hall and I enjoyed it because it was pretty much new. there are many computers for classes and the atmosphere was calm and modern, good for learning. then the other buildings; they are the most ugliest ever!! first of all, i dont know why they built "firstfloor" because the level you enter is actually the second floor and you have to either go up or down for most classes. and they are building so many new things and renovating patriot center, why dont they get rid of OLD buildings and make new ones?? The teachers here are okay- some are naturally nice so it's easier to talk to them. also, there arent many clubs here; there are sports i guess but if you want to focus on your major and academics and want to see what clubs they have that might help you later, there isnt many. there are basic clubs that focus only on subjects but if you want to find something outside of box, then not much. The thing I hate about GMU is that people dont challenge themselves at all. the setting is very laid back and i guess students can have some leisure but in the end, no one really cares. It's better to live your own life than to have no plan. If you really care about your future, then have a goal first when coming to GMU and stick to it.

If you aren't a sorority whore, don't bother,Quite BrightPolitical Science
If you aren't a sorority whore, don't bother, you won't make friends. If you don't like dancing on poles at frat parties, don't bother because you won't have a social life.

I had ONE awesome class/professor my entire year at Mason, and it was his last year there anyway. Everyone is EXACTLY the same, and if you're artsy in any way, do not expect to meet or see anyone like you. There is absolutely nothing to do on campus. That was a blessing for me though, because I spent virtually all my time studying and therefore got a 4.0... which made it easier to transfer out of that hellhole.

Question
I have enjoyed my two years at MasonQuite BrightAccounting
I have enjoyed my two years at Mason very much. The Accounting program is top notch and the university offers a rich variety of programs, student activities, and internships that only add to the vacation.

I am an avid swimmer and Mason has one of the finest Aquatic Facilities on the east coast - bar none. I am involved in two academic organizations and a fraternity. The ever growing on-campus population only makes these activities and facilities better.

The campus is undergoing a lot of construction - but it reflects the growth of the university and also results in the students getting all brand new facilities with the latest features and accommodations.

The basketball, soccer, and lacrosse programs are successful and also provide a lot of social opportunities and fun for the students. I would definitely recommend Mason.
