MWC is a great college, and I loveQuite BrightEnglish
MWC is a great college, and I love being here. But if you are looking for racial or cultural diversity you won't find it here. MWC is a cultural void. They try though I suppose, but whatever they're trying isn't working. If diversity is your thing, you'll find yourself hanging out a lot at the multicultural center (which isn't a bad thing necessarily) because that's one of the few places you'll find it.

I've been very happy with the quality of education here, & the campus & downtown Fredericksburg are both beautiful. Despite the fact that Mary Washington is such a small school, I think that it isn't any easier establishing a "niche" here than it would be in any of the other larger Virginia schools. As much as I like MWC, I can't help but notice how similar it seems to UVA, only void of the advantages that a bigger school with a well-known reputation has.

Question
Beautiful campus, small challenging classes.Quite BrightGeography and Geosciences
Beautiful campus, small challenging classes. Excellent education for your dollar on par with William and Mary and UVA. A very intelligent student body that really makes you feel at home. Honor Code is great I have never locked my door once. You can lose your wallet and expect to find it turned in at the police station the next day. Theres is plenty of parties if you know people. Only on friday and saturdays mainly. We actually have work to do during the week at Mary Washington. No real downtown club or bar seen just keggers. Overall not for everyone, could use more diversity, and more campus life but definately a great little college.
