Middlebury was a wonderful college academically but it prepares you for little in the real world. I graduated with a GPA of 3.7 and spoke 3 languages fluently. If you go to Middlebury you are getting yourself into the liberal arts trap. To even teach I went to graduate school at Georgia State University in Atlanta where I earned a masters and a Ph.D. The preparation for a career was minimal. I would have done much better at a state university where I probably would have majored in Computer Science and had a very lucrative career. I have worked as a university professor of Science ( I hold a PhD in Physics.)and am amazed at the number of students in my classes who hold BA's and even Masters in liberal arts fields who are going back to school to get a degree which will lead to higher earnings.
