PCC is overall a great college that seeks to protect and prepare one for the business world as well as providing good social atmosphere. The college sometimes is over-protective and I guess that it is their choice, because that is their stand and they keep it strong. Their goal is apparent and should be respected. Considering this college would be a wise choice for one who doesn't mind some rules and standards. The college is overall a good college and people CAN SURVIVE there. Although there were a lot of rules I got by one semester with no demerits. I have choosen not to go to the college for my second semester, but not because of PCC's actions or frustrating limitations.

Question
PCC provides a quality education for very littleEducation
PCC provides a quality education for very little money. I was able to graduate from college almost debt-free; I am better-trained than most of my co-workers who were graduated from other (both secular and Christian) universities. I had no problem being accepted into graduate school and completed my degree with little difficulty because I was so well-prepared.

Please consider that many graduate schools and testing organizations refuse to recognize PCC's degrees because PCC's graduates are so much better prepared than those with accredited degrees--eventually PCC's graduates are refused because they make other graduates look ill-informed. This is because the quality of education and the academic standards at PCC are higher than those of most other schools.

Those who have difficulty transferring credits are usually those with inferior grades, sloppy habits, and poor attitudes.

This does not mean that PCC is perfect; it's not. It's a young school (30 years old) that has many strengths and many exceptional programs, yet it still has much room for improvement. I would carefully recommend PCC to certain students--just as I would carefully direct them to other schools--depending on their temperament, their intended major, and their personal standards.

Question
PCC was a wonderful place.Communications
PCC was a wonderful place. I'd go back in a minute if I could. Never before had I been in a place that helped me to grow spiritually. Rules were not a problem, and shouldn't be if you have the right attitude. The Bible is the ultimate "Rule Book", and a true Christian would want to do what God says, according to His Word. The rules are set in place because the administration cares about the students' souls. Ultimately, what's done for Christ is what lasts. Every institution has a set of guidelines, and they have to be across the board to keep order. Go with the right attitude and you will do fine.

The other students were like any other group of people in the world. Some are rude, some friendly, some phony, some truly sincere, some funny, some serious, some snobby, some poor, some rich--that's life, that's America. Christians are not perfect, just forgiven.

When you apply to PCC, ask yourself why you want to go there. If you want a good education with lasting moral and spiritual results, go to PCC. If you want to goof off, waste your money (or your parents'), party, and live a life of devoid of propriety, basically I mean indulge in a life of sin, then go somewhere else. Don't attend this first-rate Christian college if you are not a Christian. It was instituted as a place where Christian young people could go and get a Christian, Bible-based education. Read the promo literature you receive. It does say "Christian" college the last time I checked.I am grateful for the time I spent there. I didn't like all my teachers (which is perfectly normal), but there were so many who were top-notch (Dr. Chapman, Chris Brennemann, Mrs. Rickard, Coach Hazewinkel, Dr. Bere, Dr. Mullinex, Dr. Crawford, Ray Gibbs, Dr. Jaffe'). I learned about Fine Arts and music appreciation, and most of all I learned about excellence. So if you want a well-rounded, quality, academically sound, and Christian, Bible-based education, attend this college. Pray about it and let the Lord take care of the details.
