As for the rules and activities, well, they are something I can easily live with in order to reach my goal. However, the philosophy of education and classroom management is something I have grown out of. I must admit, I find it an embarrassing part of my past that I once ran a school and classroom according to the methods taught. Overall, I got a good education and good tools, but it took me a number of years to grow past the "lecture/memoriztion" teaching techniques taught at PCC and presented in A Beka Book.

Visit PCC for yourself! Evaluate what you see for yourself. Ask God if this is the college for you. Remain open to what God has for your life. Don't expect the college you choose to be perfect. God will use human imperfections to help you lean on Him more, rather than your own understanding. My experience at PCC made me a professional and instilled in me the desire for excellence in all I do. Upon graduation, I knew with confidence I was adequately trained for any job in my field. Do you want to be trained well in your career choice? Do you want future employers to hire you because they know Pensacola Christian College has the reputation of training professionals who look and act like professionals? Then choose PCC. I can say with authority that not all Christian colleges will provide the invaluable training AND godly environment that PCC offers.

My education at PCC on the whole was a positive experience. My faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the center of my life and PCC was a place that helped and allowed me to be the Christian I needed to be while at the same time achieve my educational goals.Many of the negative comments about PCC being too strict or too religious are from students that I feel PCC should have screened out during the application process and denied entrance to their college. These have become the leaven in the lump and ultimately in the end hurt the reputation of PCC. If the worldly non-Christ center student wants to walk and live like the world let them go to the world’s colleges and universities.
