MBA in Real Estate

Real estate is "property consisting of land and the buildings on it, along with its natural resources such as crops, minerals, or water; immovable property of this nature; an interest vested in this (also) an item of real property; (more generally) buildings or housing in general. Also: the business of real estate; the profession of buying, selling, or renting land, buildings or housing."[1]

It is a legal term used in jurisdictions such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Nigeria, Australia, and New Zealand.

As you study for your MBA in real estate you will learn the ins and outs of the buying and selling sides of real estate. You will study real estate development, investment and analysis. You will take classes in business, management, finances, strategy, accounting and law. You will case study instances in real estate where everything went right and nothing went right at all. You will learn about international real estate transactions and you may travel internationally.

Typical MBA Real Estate programs run 2 years. Some institutions offered accelerated programs where you may be able to earn your MBA in Real Estate in as little as 12 months.
