“UW Madison has been a major disappointment.Bright
UW Madison has been a major disappointment. The academics are mediocre, and faculty couldn't care less - and make sure that you know it...if you ever actually get any faculty. Most everything seems to be taught by TA's. Students here are arrogant and conceited, and heavily into the drinking culture of Madison. The city is dirty (although they seem to try to clean it up better on the campus proper) and Madison is no longer a safe city at night around the campus area. I'm looking to transfer out of here after this year. A private school or out of state tuition elsehwere is much more expensive, but after 2 years of this place, it will be well worth the money.
