I have run into very successful people who graduated from the University of Kansas during my own graduate school years. If you are willing to put in a small amount of effort, KU can give you an excellent undergraduate preparation for top graduate and professional programs around the country. I went there on full scholarship, and I am so happy that I did not have to spend years paying off student loans. Lawrence remains one of my favorite towns, and I meet Jayhawks all around the world, in research, in industry, in government. Too bad more people don't realize what a gem it is, and too bad more students don't take advantage of the university for all it has to offer academically and socially.

Oswego helped me a great deal. The degree I earned there gave me a good foundation for my first job as well as graduate school. When I was looking for a job in NYC, it seemed that everyone I interviewed told me about a positive experience they had with Oswego alumni at some point in their career.I would recommend SUNY Oswego to anyone one who is looking to get a solid education at an affordable price. Is it an elite school? No. But it is solid in many areas and it is a terrific value for the money.

Bob Jones was a nightmare! I was stuck under unbearable rules and regulations, not allowed any free thought, and ended up spending an excessive amount of money to keep up with their ridiculous dress codes and "culture". With few exceptions, the students were as closed-minded as the school and those who weren't were only there because their parents forced them to go to this school. It DOES NOT PREPARE YOU FOR THE REAL WORLD. It sets false expectations, denies the ability to have free thought, forces more rules on adults than they had as children, and provides a mediocre education.DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. You will fail to find value. If you are seeking a career in a professional field that requires accredited education, you will have to retake your entire 4 years of school and have wasted all that time, money and life at a religious compound.
